Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a site. Local storage is a neighbouring mechanism: the information stays in your browser and is not sent to the server, apart from the two exceptions noted below.

What we use today

Two categories, and only one of them is put to you. The strictly necessary cookies make the shop work and are set without your agreement: without them there is no basket, no sign-in and no order. The TikTok and Meta advertising pixels measure the visits and purchases that come from our adverts, and Google Analytics measures the shop's audience. None of the three is loaded before you agree.

If you refuse, they are not loaded at all: no script is downloaded, no cookie is set, nothing is sent to TikTok, to Meta or to Google. Were we to add another tracker, your consent would be obtained beforehand through the banner provided for it, and this page would be updated.

Strictly necessary cookies

  • hd_session - Keeping you signed in to your customer account. Duration: session.
  • hd_refresh - Renewing the session without asking for your password again. Duration: a few days.
  • __cf_bm, cf_clearance - Set by Cloudflare to tell a visitor from a robot and protect the forms from spam. Duration: 30 minutes to a few days.
  • hd_locale - The language you chose in the switcher, so the site is served in it on your next visit. Set only if you change language. Duration: one year.

These cookies require no consent: without them the shop cannot work. They serve no advertising purpose.

Advertising cookies - only with your agreement

Set by the TikTok and Meta pixels, and only if you have accepted the banner. They let those two ad networks connect a visit or an order to an advert you saw, and measure what our campaigns actually return.

TikTok

  • _ttp - An identifier assigned by TikTok, linking your visits to one another and to an advert. Duration: 13 months at most.
  • _tt_enable_cookie - Records that the pixel has been permitted to set cookies. Duration: 13 months at most.
  • ttclid - The advertising click identifier, present only if you reach the site from a TikTok advert. Duration: 13 months at most.
  • ttcsid, ttcsid_DA9E07BC77UES974823G - Session identifiers linking together the pages seen during one visit. Duration: the one published by TikTok, see the link below.

The pixel also keeps, for the life of the tab only, tt_sessionId, tt_pixel_session_index and tt_appInfo. The exact durations are those published by TikTok in its cookie policy.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram)

  • _fbp - A browser identifier assigned by Meta, linking your visits to one another. Duration: 90 days.
  • _fbc - The advertising click identifier, written only if you reach the site from a Meta advert, from the fbclid parameter in the address. Duration: 90 days.

The exact durations are those published by Meta in its cookie policy.

Audience measurement cookies - only with your agreement

Set by Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and only if you have accepted the banner. They tell us how many people visit the shop, which pages they pass through and which lead to a purchase. We use those figures only to improve the site.

  • _ga - A browser identifier assigned by Google, telling one visit from another. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_VRK8GGCPK4 - Keeps the session state for this shop's Analytics property. Duration: 2 years.

Google Tag Manager, which loads this measurement, sets no cookie of its own.

What TikTok receives, and where that data goes

The pages you look at in the shop, the items you add to the basket and the amount of the orders, together with your IP address and a browser identifier. We pass on neither your name, nor your address, nor your email address.

The controller for this processing in the European Economic Area is TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland), jointly with TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited. This data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to China, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. What Meta receives, and where that data goes

The same events: the product pages you look at, the items you add to the basket, going to checkout, and the amount, the currency and the item references of a paid order, together with your IP address and a browser identifier. We pass on neither your name, nor your address, nor your email address. The order number goes with them: it serves only as a de-duplication key, so that one purchase is not counted twice.

The controller for this processing in the European Economic Area is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. This data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. What Google receives, and where that data goes

The pages you look at, and the same shop events: product page viewed, add to basket, going to checkout, and the amount, the currency and the item references of a paid order. Your IP address and a browser identifier go with them. We pass on neither your name, nor your address, nor your email address.

Collection goes through a receiving point located in the European Union. The controller for this processing in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited. This data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Local storage

Kept until you clear the site's data.

  • rozzani.cart.v1 - The contents of your basket, so it survives a page refresh
  • rozzani.consent.v1 - Your choice about cookies, so it is not asked again on every visit
  • rozzani.discount.v1 - The discount code you entered, so you do not have to type it again
  • rozzani.waitlist.v1 - The items you have joined the waiting list for
  • hd_recent - The pieces you have looked at recently, shown at the foot of the product page
  • rozzani.install.v1 - Whether you have already refused, or accepted, installing the shop as an app

Session storage

Cleared as soon as you close the tab.

  • rozzani.pageviews.v1 - The number of pages seen, so installation is only offered after a few of them
  • rozzani.socialproof.off - Whether you have hidden the recent-purchases banner
  • rozzani.handoff.v2 - The order number and email address, for the time it takes to go and pay and come back
  • rozzani.purchase.v1 - The order amount, for the time it takes to pass it to the advertising pixels, then cleared. Written only if you accepted the advertising cookies

This information stays in your browser, with the two exceptions noted above: the basket, passed to the shop if you enter your email address while ordering, so that we can remind you of it; and the order amount, passed to TikTok and to Meta if, and only if, you accepted the advertising cookies.

Managing your choice

The banner shown on your first visit records your choice. Refusing takes effect immediately and unconditionally: no pixel is ever loaded, so there is nothing to switch off afterwards.

You may change your mind at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back. That will also clear your basket and the pieces you looked at recently, which are kept in the same place. You may also object to personalised advertising from your TikTok account settings and from the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account, which applies to every site and not only to this one. Google offers, for its part, a Google Analytics opt-out add-on for your browser.

You may equally block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will, however, prevent signing in to your account and placing an order.

Legal basis

Setting non-necessary cookies is subject to your prior consent (Article 129 of the Belgian Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, and Articles 6 and 7 of the GDPR). The strictly necessary cookies rest on our legitimate interest in providing a site that works and is protected from abuse.
