Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data the Rozzani shop processes, why, and which rights you may exercise. It is drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018.

Data processed, purposes and legal bases

  • Name, delivery and billing address, email, telephone - Processing and delivering the order, providing after-sales service. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: 10 years (Belgian accounting obligation).
  • Order detail, amount, means of payment - Invoicing and accounting. Legal basis: legal obligation. Retention: 10 years.
  • Email, password (hashed) - Managing your customer account, if you open one. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: until the account is deleted.
  • Email - Sending the newsletter. Legal basis: consent. Retention: until you unsubscribe.
  • Email and the item followed - Telling you when a piece returns (waiting list). Legal basis: consent. Retention: until notification or removal.
  • Review content, first name - Publishing reviews on the product pages. Legal basis: consent. Retention: until the review is withdrawn.
  • IP address, technical browser data - Site security, prevention of fraud and spam. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: a short period, particular to each tool.

Recipients

Your data is neither sold, rented nor exchanged. It is disclosed only to the providers necessary for the shop to work, who act as processors and are bound by contract:

  • Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam, the Netherlands - payment processing.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. - protecting the site against abuse (forms) and serving the pages.
  • Cloudinary Ltd. - hosting and serving the product photographs.
  • The carrier chosen for your order, which receives the data necessary for delivery.
  • Our e-commerce platform, operated by Synovitec, which hosts the catalogue and the orders.

Data may also be disclosed to the authorities where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some technical providers are established outside the European Economic Area or hold infrastructure there. Such transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, supplemented where appropriate by technical protection measures.

Your rights

You may at any time request:

  • access to your data and a copy of it;
  • rectification of inaccurate data;
  • erasure of your data, within the limits of our legal retention obligations;
  • restriction of processing;
  • portability of the data you have provided to us;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdrawal of your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

Security

Traffic with the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed and are never readable. Access to order data is limited to those who need it.
