We sell fewer things,and we know them better.

Every piece in this catalogue has been seen, handled, and often sent back before being accepted. We ask where the material comes from, who worked it, and what it becomes after ten years. When the answer does not satisfy us, the piece does not come in.

What it is made of

    Where does the material come from?

    We ask for the sawmill, the spinner, the quarry. When nobody can answer, that is an answer too.

    Who worked it?

    A workshop with a name, a person we can reach. We visit before ordering, and again afterwards.

  3. 03

    What does it become in ten years?

    Brass patinates, leather darkens, linen softens. What only wears out does not come in.
